The cycle path leads along the Wöhrder See up to the fountain, ends there at a lowered curb (unless you want to go around the lake) with an adjacent lane for cars and then starts again between two lanes, like a spring that springs out of the rock.
The whole thing seems strange at first, but you don't have to close yourself off to new things. Sure, it's very dangerous, but in practice it works quite well.
