The Wöhrder See (not to be confused with the Wörthersee) is a reservoir in the city of Nuremberg. It is about 2600 m long, averaging 100-200 m wide and covers an area of 52 hectares. [1] He is named after the Nuremberg district Wöhrd.The Wöhrder See in the east of Nuremberg extends from the district Wöhrd to Mögeldorf and Erlenstegen. It consists of two interconnected parts, the Lower Wöhrder See with a length of about 1200 and a maximum width of 450 meters, and the Upper Wöhrder Lake with a length of about 1400 meters.At the lower end of the lake, where the Pegnitz flows out again, the Wöhrder Wiese joins, an inner-city green area that reaches right up to the Altstadtring. There are numerous leisure activities around the lake. Recreation area in the middle of the city.
