The mill is located on the Molenbeek, near the confluences with the Sassenbeek, the Kraaiwinkelbeek and the Wingebeek. The valley is a swampy, beautiful walking area that connects with the Troostenbergbos freely accessible to walkers. The vast Gempe pond attracts many species of waterfowl.
