Since April 2023, a new boardwalk of 175 meters long has opened up the humid valley of the Winge between the Gempemolen and the Bensbergstraat. Game elements and two rest benches have been placed along the boardwalk so that walkers can enjoy this natural spot.
The path is part of the listening walk 'The legend of the Gempe'. The walk is 3.5 km long and starts at the Gempemolen. Along the way, you get to know Knight Renier, Lady Lauretta and their children at 7 places via smartphone.

This boardwalk at the Gempemolen in Tielt-Winge was put into use in 2023 together with a nature education path. There are also benches along the path. Always nice to walk and in the spring an extra interesting spot with many early spring bloomers and marsh marigolds.
