Ten Gaerde Vineyard

• In 2014, a group of enthusiastic wine enthusiasts opted for
the Hougaateberg a
vineyard planted with about 1,200 vines.
• The plantation contains the following species: Pinot Poir, Pinot Gris and
Pinot Meunier.
• The following varieties were added in 2015: Cabernet
Cortis and Rondo.
• The wine estate is located in Wijngaardstraat on the
Houuweberg

Here you will find the vineyard ten Gaerde. Convinced that the Hageland hills form an ideal terroir for wine growing, Danny and his father André planted their first vines in Houwaart in the spring of 2010 to develop a vineyard for their own use. André was one of the founders of wine growing in the Hageland in the 1970s.Danny expanded his knowledge and skills over the years by taking all kinds of targeted courses and lectures at home and abroad. The hobby turned into a passion and over the years the planting steadily expanded.
