Today I simply didn't have enough eyes! Both nature and people have particularly surprised me. I wandered around the heath all morning, from one fen to another, so beautiful! I'm almost lyrical about it. In the afternoon, I visited Arcen Castle and its gardens. One word: magnificent!! The spring flowers

For 5 years, I have been walking 2 times a week with 2 super sweet Galgos. We are each other's walking buddies through thick and thin, winter and summer... But now they are moving too far away and I will soon have to say goodbye to my 2 buddies. I will miss them and our walks enormously...

Spring can be felt everywhere... in scents and colors!

When I set off, the sun was still shining between the clouds. The meadows in the Velpevallei were very marshy... up to the ankles in water! Still enjoyed this walk.

This could have been a promising walk if Komoot hadn't thrown a wrench in the works! After the first km, the app crashed, no GPS signal,...one crash after another...at km 2 I was so busy worrying about the app that I didn't see the protruding tree root...!! Luckily, it's just a swollen, painful hand

After a weekend helping my daughter and son-in-law move, I was ready for a walk.



Between Gijmel and Wolfsdonk lie the Langdonken, a protected nature reserve, very wet and muddy after a period of heavy rain.



But where there's a will, there's a way... So,... few walkers and enough silence to unwind for a
