The Klein Begijnhof is a court in the center of the Belgian city of Mechelen. This first beguinage in Mechelen dates from the early 13th century. In 1259 the city council granted permission to build a beguinage outside the city walls (the Great Beguinage), but old and deficient beguines continued to live here.
