Hiking

The Hasselbach rises above the Simonsbrander Weg and flows through the area with source streams in natural structures. The striking Hasselbachgraben, which runs from east to west with its footpath at the edge, belongs to the water catchment area of the Dreilägerbachtalsperre and was created in 1920. It begins below Raffelsbrand and flows into the Dreilägerbachtalsperre after about eight kilometers.
Here, not far from the confluence with the Dreilägerbachtalsperre, there is a water level (water level meter). Unfortunately, due to the heat and drought of recent years, there is hardly any water left.
