The Protestant village church of Prieros is a neo-Romanesque hall church. The building replaced a baroque half-timbered church that had become so dilapidated in 1859 that security measures were necessary. In 1870 the parish decided to demolish the sacred building and commissioned craftsmen who built a new building between 1873 and 1875. A comprehensive renovation took place around 1982.
