Hiking
Turning from Zeppenheimer Straße in Kalkum, we follow the Schwarzbach on this slippery meadow path in the falling darkness into the Kalkumer Forest. The Schwarzbach partly flows in an elevated position behind a blunt dike to the south; sometimes there are picturesque, twilight views of the small, but now raging body of water.
The “little savage” accompanies us to the border fence of the airport area, where in the middle of the rain a cozy, dry hut surprises us with a view of the airport's landing and take-off events.
