The small watchtower-like observation pavilion is actually the upper floor of a waterworks. Due to the elevated position there is also an interesting view towards Steinfurth.

Unfortunately, the view from here is quite poor or negligible due to the many tall trees. Maybe the city will get its act together and do some clear-cutting here. Until then, this vantage point will unfortunately remain reduced to a small weather shelter.
