Salt meadows with a view of Münzenberg Castle

The Münzenberg salt marshes nature reserve is located in the area of the towns of Lich and Münzenberg in the Wetterau district in Hesse.The 64.25 hectare area, which was declared a nature reserve in 1977 under the code 1440006, extends northwest of the core town of Münzenberg and east of Ober-Hörgern. The Wetter and Hechtgraben rivers flow through the area. The A 45 runs to the north and east of the area, the L 3053 state road to the west and the L 3136 on the northeast edge.
