The bronze Elvis statue, which is unique in Germany, has been standing on the renovated bridge since August 2021. The life-size and worldwide only statue of the US musician (1935-1977) made of bronze has been placed at this original location. It is located where Elvis stood and was photographed in the late 1950s. Elvis posed for a record cover in various locations in Bad Nauheim in 1959, including on this bridge. Another motif was chosen for the cover: Two female Elvis fans came up with the idea of resurrecting the musician as a statue. For this, the initiators collected around 40,000 euros in donations.
