Beautiful castle located on a strategic height
The fortified structure was used for defensive purposes and as a refuge for people, goods and foodstuffs. The castle's oldest visible structures (dating from the 12th–13th centuries) include the lower parts of the towers and walls (recognizable by the wall texture in Brenta River pebbles, limestone and bricks). The square in front was a market and meeting place.
