Also known as the "Grundherrenschloss" (Landlord's Palace), it was built in 1517 and has been owned by the von Grundherr family since the 18th century.
The building may not be as impressive as the small palaces in the neighborhood, but it still has a stately appearance, especially the roof with its strikingly shaped window openings (so-called "bull's-eyes"). It is the only surviving early Neoclassical manor house in Nuremberg.
