The Neutorturm is one of the four striking, round main towers of Nuremberg's city fortifications, its old name is "Green K".

The Neutor was one of the four main gates of Nuremberg's city fortifications, was mentioned as early as 1377 and led via St. Johannis (Nuremberg) to Fürth, Würzburg and Frankfurt am Main. It was built next to the older Tiergärtnertor; the gate tower was originally an outwork.

In 1564 the tower was encased and the old outwork was replaced by the Neutorbastei.
