For years it has been on my list to someday explore the country between the lanes of Germany's most beautiful motorway section 😃
I left in a westerly direction at the temporary exit right after the motorway splits. I parked on the "Lämmerbuckel", almost directly above the tunnel that you cross in the east direction.
At first the tour took me over paved dirt roads over the 'high plateau', but later hiking boots were also appropriate on the small paths.
When I approached the motorway and when I looked through the leaves of the trees I noticed that the large bridge construction site for the railway line was a little further north, I still had a small one that was definitely worthwhile! Detour to a lookout rock attached.
After that it was always pretty close and mostly above the route, quite nice but also loud 😉
If I want to stop there again, I would go to P 'Eselshöfe'.

A very nice hike that I took over here somewhere. Unfortunately, you cannot visit the castle spontaneously at the moment. Since we didn't get an online ticket with a time slot in advance, there was no tour or visit to the beer garden. ... but our great resting place made up for us. And the many views of the castle "were worth the trip". :-)
