In the district of Linden-North, on the banks of the leash is the modern-distinctive Clock Horn Church, built in the 1960s. Visible structural concrete walls with copper-covered hipped roof and a freestanding, very slim bell tower. Already in 2012, it was designed and is a listed building. The former church is to be converted into a student residence for 40 students.

The architects Dirk Felsmann and his partner Gert Meinhof bought the former Evangelical Lutheran church, which was desecrated in 2012, and converted it into a dormitory for students in the former nave. Since no extensive structural changes were allowed to be made to the listed building, a house was built into the church. In order to guarantee thermal insulation in spite of the fact that the facade was to be preserved, glass walls and windows were quickly integrated from the inside like a box. The listed Gerhard Uhlhorn Church is on the banks of the Leine in Linden-Nord, directly at the Sleeping Beauty Bridge. It is a modern sacred building that was built in 1963 by the Munich architect Reinhard Riemerschmid for the Lutheran Uhlhorn congregation founded in 1955. In addition to the green copper roof, the free-standing bell tower, which is sometimes called "God's microphone" because of its shape, is striking. The Uhlhorn congregation merged with the Bethlehem congregation in 2009. The church was divested and sold in 2016. The building has been used as a privately run student residence since 2019.
