The monastery gardens were redesigned in 1760 in the "French taste" and are considered the only baroque park in Brandenburg whose basic structures were not redesigned in later times. The baroque paths and water systems, the steep terraces, the orangery and parts of the historical plant population have been preserved. ▪︎▪︎》 In 2008 the Neuzelle monastery garden was voted one of the 53 most important gardens in Germany by the German Tourist Board.
The center of the gardens is the orangery, in which the orange trees and other southern plants from the monastery garden overwinter from October to May and which is used in the summer months as a café, for events and for weddings. Visitors can be enchanted by the charm of the centuries-old monastery complex and experience a unique monastic garden culture.
