The King's Bastion is the oldest fortification of its kind in Poland. It was completed around 1680. The casemates conceal all construction phases and several levels. Due to its poor condition, the bastion is closed to visitors. The museum in the Phillip Bastion features a 3D animation with laser scans that reveal the individual layers.
