Idyllic piece of Dutch landscape. De Vlietmolen is a seesaw mill on the Zederikkade in Lexmond in the Dutch municipality Vijfheerenlanden. It was built for the drainage of the polder-Lakerveld. The mill drained it together with the 'Bonkmolen' and the disappeared 'Lekkersche Molen' and the also disappeared 'Rode or Overtogtmolen'. The Vlietmolen was in operation until 1986. Jan van Wijk was the last miller employed by the polder and has performed this task more than sustained for 60 years.
