Until 1905, this mill stood on the Meerkerk side of Peet Vroon's house on the Zederikkade. For today's walkers and cyclists, along the Zederikkade between the viaduct in the Veldweg over the A27 and Meerkerk.

"De Zouwe" is located directly on the Zouwe. It's the name of the reservoir and part of the Zouweboezem nature reserve. The windmills on Zederikkade once pumped excess polder water into this reservoir. This Natura 2000 area is known for its unique flora and fauna. Booking a nature retreat is highly recommended! Everyone who arrives past the windmill and over the small bridge at the end of the dike reacts with the same amazement: "What a beautiful place!"
You also have a view of the "Vlietmolen" a little further away.
