Georg Otto Friedrich von Jagow (1742-1810) rebuilt the single-winged late-baroque castle that still stands today on the site of the Grumbkow Castle, which burned down in 1780, until 1782. The moat alone remained as a decorative element and was spanned with a magnificent figure-decorated bridge. It was not until 1823 that the moat on the garden side of the palace was filled with the transformation of the baroque pleasure garden into a landscape park. In 1856 the terrace dominating the entire garden front of the palace was built. In 1911 the castle was extended by an extension on the south gable, in 1991 a corresponding extension was carried out on the north side.
