The tower is popularly known as the Mouse Tower. The tower was designed by the architect Ferdinand Crone. I couldn't find more and the reason. It is very unusual and looks like something out of a fairy tale. Nice to look at and a good change of pace on the route.

The striking tower belonging to the estate has been preserved and is a listed building. The vernacular put him the name "mouse tower" at, probably due to a vague resemblance to the Bingen Mouse Tower. The tower was designed by Monheim architect Ferdinand Crone. He is also responsible for the [intern] Rathaus on Alte Schulstraße and the Lottenschule.
