Kühtai Road: Oetz to Ochsengarten

The ascent of the Kühtai starts well here, in this part it only goes up with an average gradient of around 8.4%. 700 of 1,200 m are done in front of Ochsengarten. The forest always provides pleasant, shady sections. As a result, the panoramic views from Mühlau are no longer too great, which is much more pronounced in the Ochsengarten - Kühtai part. The motorized traffic is fine as on the entire route.

very nice pass up to the Kühtai, you drive along different vegetation zones and you can also perceive them very consciously from the bike, as long as you have enough air during the climbing at 2020hm, the Kühtai is one of the highest permanently inhabited settlements in Austria.
