mühlviertel again // forests, farms & views
beautiful autumn day, amazing views and climbs, a mix of forests and farmland, tannermoor (food and one hour of hiking) and highest road of upper austria as highlights, happy i can do all of this

out of mostar, over the hills, to the coast and to split ... hot day, climbs in the heat were hard, more open landscape and less shade and a different world on the croatian coast: tourist masses, beaches, hotels etc., but nice to see the sea, will stay another day…

foža was a nice place, small and lively ... cycled through an old forest, visited a gigantic partisan monument (fought the germans here in ww2) and then cycled through a dry highland, mostly empty land except for a town with a coal mine, luckily the forest fires google warned me…

western balkans 4 // trešnjevik pass
had to change my plans and will not go to kosovo, would have been too stressfull, because of the high pass that is the only way of getting there and back ... so i decided to turn around and by going over trešnjevik pass and to tara gorge ... good…

well, harder than expected ... it was very hot, altough drinking a lot i dried out like a raisin, besides traffic i had to fight with headache and tired legs, especially on the last km, nice villages, no dog-bites and many gaz-stations for drinks and snacks
