High altitude local history / tour as a tourist. And finally a completely new asphalted "residents free" -blocked B62, because it was so beautiful, drove the applause curve twice. To top it off, cycled on the old way to school.

Planning is the be-all and end-all ... Just really wanted to go to Rennweg. And actually got one last chance: Dear cycling community, your prayers were answered, the Schillingstraße Gürzenich-Schevenhütte will be closed from today (8 July 21) and will probably be renewed! But somehow it just didn't work out: the piece through Düren really sucks, red wave, cars, after all, still a pretty decent cycle lane. Almost ruined my desire for the Rennweg. Once at the top, the beautiful part began. The piece by Brandenberg Zerkall is also fun. However, Brück-Nideggen, as cool as the road is, but the eye of the needle to the Rureifel is no fun at all because of the uphill cars. On the other hand, pure relaxation is the order of the day at the Feldweg Speedway along the edge of the Eifel. Already got a lot of momentum over the Breidel and then pounded between Embken and Jakobswüllesheim. The piece to Kerpen is also a classic and very relaxed. The piece over the Bethlehemer Höhe is only recommended for gravel fans, although there are some wonderful asphalt pieces in between. Overall, a nice tour, but not recommended for blind follow-up. Keep your eyes open, also when planning!
