The Alte Bielefelder Hütte was built in 1914 and destroyed by an avalanche in 1951. Today, only the foundation can be seen. Because of the exposed location, it was not built at this location. This is how the Neue Bielefelder Hütte was built about two kilometers away from here in the years 1953/54.
