In 1887 Lahmann bought the then vacant Frida bath and in the following years developed it into a very recognized sanatorium in which "civilization ailments" were treated with "physical and dietary healing methods". What was behind it? Shot and water cures, chopping wood and walks in the adjacent forest. A lot of celebrities took cure here. After a long period of deterioration, the site was developed into a residential park. Some historical buildings can still be admired (at least from the outside): the Villa Heinrichshof, the men's and women's baths and the walkway.
