The tour can also be called "Back to Winter". Sometimes there was still up to half a meter of snow. 🙈 After all, we were able to build a May snowman. 😁
It was an interesting round, although a piece of the harvester fell victim to forest road death, otherwise it is easy to walk and also signposted.
Our rest was spontaneous after the first few meters, as we couldn't resist the delicious lentil soup from the inn at the dam. 🤭😋

April weather in May, almost everything was there - sun, rain and the remains of the storm "Eugen".
Today we found out that we didn't know some of the folk songs on our way.
Of course, there were also many who we had to sing up and down during our school days. 😅
And with some of them we simply missed the melody. 🙈
In any case, the group taught us and refreshed new knowledge.
We also want to hike the remaining song paths on occasion. 😊

I've been flirting with this tour for a long time, as it was shown many times by you. 😊 Today we finally got here, towards spring (even if we went back a bit because of forest work).
We are thrilled about this beautiful piece of land and the Rochsburg castle grounds.
There were some geocaches on the way and the bird voice app "birdNet" was also used - I can only recommend it.
But about 3 km before the end, the drama took its course. My better half probably had hypoglycaemia and it was going on at a snail's pace. That is more strenuous than 10 km at a moderate pace ... 🙈
Then I lost the seat pad and I darted back a bit. 🤪.
Conclusion - the route is not that long if you want to hike it, but it is beautiful.
P.S. In the meantime we are back home and things are looking up.

Hooray, we're going to ride the little train ... 🚂 😁
With this we drove 1 hour from Cranzahl to Oberwiesenthal (single trip € 8). And from there we walked back through the dead of winter.
Luckily we were packed windproof 🌨️🌬️ because it was sometimes really uncomfortable.

After injuring my knee a little on the way to work on Wednesday, it was sometimes difficult today. But with a few breaks we got back to the starting point. 💪🏻
Don't be surprised if every now and then it went down the path, we were looking for the Crandorf lizards🦎 and the 🐲ei on the side. 🤫😉
So just stay on the signposted path when hiking afterwards.
By the way, it's hard to see, a squirrel is climbing in pictures 79 and 80 🐿.

Today we were accompanied by fat bumblebees, busy bees 🐝 and funny butterflies 🦋. We ran into a cute black squirrel 🐿, mice 🐁 nibbled on their hidden supplies, falcons and kites 🦅 circled over our heads, even a jay 🐦 showed itself among the colorful flock of birds. Everyone enjoyed the sunny, warm weather 🌡☀️, as did we during two long, cozy breaks. As a memento, I took home my first sunburn this year. 🙈
