Basically, it's really great here and I would recommend it at any time of year. There was just one thing that I found problematic. There are tons of fallen trees here that aren't cleared away, so you can walk through without any problems. I think this is for nature conservation reasons, as some of the trees have been lying there for a long time and would otherwise have been dismantled. This is certainly less of an issue for me or generally fitter people. But cyclists have a lot less fun here and some older walkers clearly have difficulty climbing over the tree trunks.
