The name was certainly not without reason, you have a beautiful view to the south from there, many have probably already felt it that way. The transition to the next lake is not so easy, at least by bike, especially in autumn when there is a lot of leaves on the paths and you can easily slide away.
It's also a nice resting place and you can hike around the lake on either side.
