Hiking Highlight
Hidden between dense trees in Bispingen stands the old church, the Ole Kerk. The small stone church was built in the 1350s and has since been rebuilt only a little. When the new St. Anthony's Church was inaugurated at the beginning of the 20th century, the small building was used as a community hall. In 1965, even the demolition was imminent, fortunately averted. After a comprehensive renovation at the beginning of the 1970s, the Ole Kerk is now used again as a chapel for weddings, baptisms or concerts.
