At this Ritterstein lies the ban border of Frankweiler, Siebeldingen and Godramstein. In the days of King Dagobert, around 700 AD, a gigantic hawthorn bush was said to have been destroyed by a thunderstorm. At this point, King Dagobert had hidden from his enemies. The farmers helped him and as a reward they got the Geraidewaldungen.
