Ostend certainly used to be that way. Some old buildings in the city or, for example, the Villa Maritza give an idea of Ostend's old splendor.
Unfortunately, Ostend was destroyed a second time by the architects of the 1950s.
Nevertheless, the city has its very special advantages. Sometimes you need a second look.
