In the early 1990s, Miss Van took to the streets with her typically sensual, feminine figures. She immediately became one of the pioneers for female street artists. Miss Van was best known for her poupées, female figures with pursed lips and almond-shaped eyes. She does not shy away from sensuality in her dreamy scenes, but there is always a certain joie de vivre present. With her work, Miss Van mainly wants to put the natural instincts in the spotlight.
Miss Van painted one of her more classic works in Ostend, using beautiful colours. The poetry radiates from it, but don't look for meaning behind it. Her work is mainly aesthetic.
