In the middle of the Spiegelmeer, the sculpture ZON Anima/Animus (a work by Johan Tahon, °1965) rises subtly out of the water, embracing the clouds, the sun on the head, the gaze forever aimed at the sky. The bronze statue (eight meters high) is grafted onto the site and the elliptical lake. It is an anchor, a beacon, a mirror image in the Spiegelmeer. The placement of the statue was a feat. It stands on a pedestal in the Spiegelmeer and the upper part was placed on January 14, 2013 with a Seaking helicopter. It was a symbolic descent of the new Sun on the lake.

Here you can walk around the lake in peace or just sit on a bench and enjoy the view. Fishing is also allowed here.
