Except for the lower part, the whole is built in local tuff, just like many parts of churches, farms and houses in this area. The church tower a little further also consists largely of tuff where safety nets have been installed for crumbling pieces. Tuff has a yellowish color and is very soft. The tuff of Lincent, here a few miles today, has been used very often. The ruins of the old church at Lincent are a wonderful example. But this chapel is also very beautiful.
