The IGA Berlin 2017 is over and the "Gardens of the World" have been opened again for visitor traffic after a few demolitions.
The park is beautifully landscaped, well maintained and has a brilliant idea to the basis - garden art from around the world to show.
In winter, of course, you can not see the flowers and biodiversity, which spills over the entire area from spring, but it was still nice and relaxing today.
Already long before the IGA already existed some gardens and it was always very interesting and relaxing to walk in it. Meanwhile, new gardens have been added, embellished the old gardens and added new playgrounds and dining facilities.
The terrain has been more than doubled.
The cable car has now been spun off the park after the Ina and then belongs to the Kienbergpark, which is due to open in March 2018. At the moment you can still ride the cable car, but from there you can no longer enter the gardens of the world.
We do not think that's bad.
The admission fees are very moderate after the IGA, to our delight.Day ticket - except special events

Unfortunately, visiting the Gardens of the World is chargeable. But a hike over the adjacent Kienberg with the lookout tower and the summer toboggan run is worthwhile.
