After the last Ice Age, reindeer hunters visited this region and from the Iron Age onwards, the area slowly became a little populated.
Around 40 AD, the Rhine in our region finally became the border of the Roman Empire.
In 1962, coins were found and a little later even more things; and now there is a museum!
