The Hagenbachturm was formerly called Windbruch Gate. It is located almost at the top of the Münsterberg and is another gate on the way to the top of the mountain. It is first mentioned in 1319. This tower formerly served as a prison. The tower was named after the Burgundian governor Hagenbach, who was imprisoned there in 1474.

Very nice gate, even cars still drive through the steep cobblestone street.
Great view of the Rhine and the city.
