The cityscape of Breisach is primarily characterized by the Stephansmünster. Located on the Münsterberg, it can be seen from afar. The view of Alsace and the Black Forest is best enjoyed from up there.

The historic city center of Breisach is located directly behind the Minster. In the lower town is the well-known sparkling wine cellar Geldermann. As part of a guided tour with a sparkling wine tasting, you can climb down into the vaults of the private sparkling wine cellar. Guided tours take place Monday to Saturday at 2 p.m. (no registration required). From March to October also on Sundays. The guided tour, including the tasting, lasts about an hour and costs €5 per person.

Great "small town" with many sights. From the Münsterberg beautiful all-round view and if you enjoy it, you can take a trip with the passenger ships on the Rhine from here.

The village of Breisach am Rhein is located in the Baden-Wurttemberg region near the French border. This village is one of the most beautiful villages in Germany, especially the beautiful church that is located high above the village provides a beautiful sight.

St. Stephen's Cathedral stands on top of the Münsterberg opposite this mountain is the Eckartsberg where the remains of a former fortress can still be found. The flanks of this mountain are covered with grape vines. The wine made here is known as one of the best in Germany. The Kaiserstuhl wine region is one of the most famous in the country. This is mainly due to the warm climate that prevails in this part of Germany.
