This small chapel in Hackhausen is on the corner of Hackhauserstrasse and Böttgerstrasse, at the bus stop "Hackhausen city limits".

The chapel was probably built around 1870 in a simple brick building with pilasters, arched portal and arched niche in the gable field. Since May 15, 1984 it has been registered with the number 1.15 as a monument in Dormagen.

It is interesting that this chapel was built with surplus building materials from the church of St. Catherine in Hackenbroich. In the chapel there is a 19th-century Pietà (Sorrowful Mother of God with Jesus' body on her lap). In addition, the chapel serves as a memorial for the fallen of both world wars.
