The towerless church in Jeserig is an example of medieval architecture. The masonry design is striking. The field stones are arranged neatly in layers, but the stones are hardly or not at all cuboid. Originally, the church had no tower, only a bell house. This was destroyed in 1782. Only in the years 1829 and 1830 did the church receive a half-timbered tower, which had to be removed in 1954 due to the risk of collapse.

In the small village of Jeserig there is a particularly simple stone church. The church from the 12th century has hardly been rebuilt to date and stands out with its simplicity among the fieldstone churches in the High Fläming.

A Feldstein church typical for Brandenburg villages in the midst of a cemetery invites the hiker to contemplative rest.
