From the former Dangelsdorf, parts of the old enclosing wall of the cemetery or village green, in the middle of which the church lay, and the church ruins have remained unchanged. After a period of decay of around 600 years, almost the entire west wall, part of the east wall and the outlines of the former side walls of the ruins are still standing. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the two walls have been supported with lateral brick walls.

In the middle of the forest you will find the ruins of a small fieldstone church a little off the hiking trail. Even after 600 years of decay you can still clearly see the original church building. Some of the remains of the church were roughly patched up with bricks to maintain their current condition.
