A few meters east of the parish church is the baroque Andreas chapel. The original chapel is said to have predated the parish church. In 1734 the new building was built by Simon Weber from Staffelstein after a crack by "Bamberg builders" - the cornerstone was laid on May 11, 1734 by the Scheßlitz chaplain J.B. Horchler, who later became the pastor of Lohndorf.
