St. Nicolai Church Döbeln

The first mention of the town church was in 1293. It was destroyed in a city fire in 1333, and rebuilt in 1479 in the Gothic style. The tower is 68 meters high and its spire is Baroque in style.

On the northern buttress of the choir depiction of the Crucifixion, around 1480, next to it building inscription, the upper floors of the tower with curtain arched windows, dated 1504, the baroque filigree structure with a curved hood and two filigree lanterns, west portal with richly profiled robe, around 1370, tracery and wimperg from 1885, tracery windows of the choir, 14th century, remodeled in 1885, sacristy on the south side (former Marienkapelle), first mentioned in 1403.
