Wolverine (Järv, bear marten)
In the wild:
"The German name Wolverine is derived from the Old Norse fjellfraß (rock cat). But this name is incorrect: as a marten, the wolverine belongs more to the canine family than to the cats. The food spectrum of the wolverine varies seasonally: in winter it is a skilled hunter and Even kills large mammals such as reindeer and elk calves, as it can move almost silently in the snow, but in summer it is dependent on animals that flee less quickly, carrion or plant food, as it then moves very noisily and cannot surprise animals.
The "Bear Marten" has very few enemies apart from humans, at most a whole pack of wolves can be dangerous to it. Individual wolves, cougars and even bears willingly give him their food to avoid a fight with the well-fortified marten."
