Beautiful, classic hedge theater in the castle garden of Rheinberg Castle.
In 1758, Prince Heinrich of Prussia had a summer theater built in the palace gardens. This hedge theater still serves as a venue for classical opera performances. The auditorium is a 750 square meter area (approx. 2,000 square meters in total) that rises slightly to the side and to the rear and offers space for approx. 990 people. The area was corrected with a restoration, so that the view of the stage improved. The scenery of the stage consists of beech hedges.
It is a magical place with a unique backdrop for the special open-air event. The Heckentheater in the Rheinsberg Castle Park is equally suitable for a standing reception, a reading and classical concerts.
