The monastery garden is part of the Eger Franciscan monastery. In 2002, after a major renovation, it was opened to the public. The garden on the monastery grounds originally served as a fruit and vegetable garden. Adjacent to it was the farm with a brewery and farm buildings. At the end of the 1930s, the garden was converted into an ornamental garden in connection with the opening of a folklore museum in the rear part of the convent building. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from April to August and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from September to October. The monastery garden is closed from November to March.
